Fred and Val Ilyin

 • New Manna Ministries
 • Siberia, Russia

Fred Ilyin

To serve and rescue street kids, orphans and widows: this is the mandate of Fred & Val Ilyin and New Manna Ministries which they founded. Working primarily in Siberia, Fred travels extensively throughout the region looking for those in need and offers hope for the future, warmth and sustenance for physical needs, and unconditional love for the human spirit.

Upon his return from one such trip, Fred writes, “It does not matter how often I visit an orphanage or meet with the street kids, my heart goes out to the children and I want to do more to help the children’s desperate situation. These “children at risk” crave for someone to give them some attention, a hug, a kind word, some time, and tell them that they are special. It really is important for individuals that know the Lord to be God’s extended hands to the children.”

John and Laurel Archer

 • Humanitarian Aid Agency
 • Countries around the world

Nancy Cucheran

Our passion is bringing hope to impossible places.

John is the director of a humanitarian aid agency working in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He is working to offer intelligent compassion in complex situations and bringing hope and light to those living in darkness. His organization runs programs in disaster relief, healthcare, social services, education, agriculture, water sanitation and micro-economic development.

The world is complex: conflict and civil unrest, climate change and natural disasters, refugees and global food shortages. Helping people in need has never been more challenging. Sometimes, bringing change and hope to the world may seem impossible, but we believe hope can be brought to people living in some of the world’s most challenging contexts. To do this, humanitarian aid must move beyond good intentions to blend technical knowledge with local cultural insight. Above all, our desire is be a witness for the kingdom in these “impossible places.”

Missions Workers

 • PAOC
 • Undisclosed Location

Missions Workers

Jesus commanded us to "go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mark 16:15). All the world does not consider how receptive people are to the Gospel and includes places that may oppose or oppress Christianity. Our Missions Workers are doing exactly that in an undisclosed location.

Emmanuel is proud to support this important work, and we enable their work by not publishing personal information.
